WaMu is now part of JPMorgan Chase & Co., a $2.3 trillion financial institution with operations in more than 60 countries. We believe that a diverse group of talented, committed individuals -- working as a team -- can make a real difference. Our teams serve millions of consumers in the United States and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under our J.P. Morgan, Chase and WaMu brands. So if you're ready to work with us, read on! Personal Financial Representatives (PFRs) sell deposit products to customers, build new customer relationships through sales initiatives and telemarketing; and cross-sell and provide referrals to other areas of the Bank. In this role you would regularly call existing clients and outside prospects to develop and maintain business relationships. Responsibilities also include preparing routine correspondence, processing account changes, researching and resolving account-related problems, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting customers with account balancing. PFRs are also responsible for developing marketing plans, including outside sales, to generate business for the Financial Center (FC). You are expected to master sales techniques and increase your knowledge of more complex product offerings. In this position, you would be responsible for the sale and service of some or all types of consumer and residential lending products, as well as business banking products and services. We want to foster an environment in which our customers keep coming back. An essential part of fostering this environment is directing FC floor activities to make sure that customer needs are met, and that their questions are answered. Candidates selected for this position will commence their employment subject to the payroll, polices and benefit plans in place for heritage WaMu employees at the same or similar levels. Candidates who remain employed will transition to JPMorgan Chase plans and policies at the same time as heritage WaMu employees, which is expected sometime in 2009. We embrace differences, welcome diversity, and value a culture of respect.
